Hogarth Estates is staffed by a team of experienced property professionals. Our team has a combination of good local knowledge, experience of selling and letting properties over many years and the maturity to deal with complex situations to ensure the best for our clients.
Peter Graham - Director
Peter is a chartered surveyor with over 30 years experience and is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He also owns Peter Graham Associates based in Scotland.
Alastair MacLeod – Director
Alastair is a chartered surveyor but has spent most of his career in investment banking with stints at Barings Bank and Goldman Sachs. He specialises in investing Far Eastern markets.
Ed Gormley – Director
Ed is a chartered accountant and investment banker who realised in the early years of the millennium that the private rental sector was growing dramatically and would continue to do so but was not being adequately serviced by the more traditional estate agency model with its focus on sales. As a consequence he became involved in residential lettings and owns the PG Estates agency with offices in Islington and Spitalfields. His role at Hogarth Estates is to oversee the running of the business and ensure the service provided by the business in sales, lettings and property management is at a level expected of SW5’s premier agent. Ed is a member of ARLA.
Ellen Breakwell – Head of Sales
Ellen has worked in the property sector all her working life and covered all London’s premier postcodes. As she has worked both as an agent and also for developers, she understands what clients want and also how to find the most suitable applicant for the property and her client.
Catherine Dewsbery - Head of Lettings
Catherine has a wealth of experience in Lettings in the South West London area. Having worked for both large corporate and independent agents, she has excelled at developing this side of the estate agency business. She has done so by understanding the needs of both Landlords and potential Tenants and her diligence and dynamism ensure that she gives an uncompromising level of service to both. Catherine is a member of ARLA.
Sally Makepeace-Taylor – Head of Property Management
Sally is in charge of Hogarth Estate's managed properties. She has been working in property management for almost 20 years and consequently has already encountered most problems this role tends to throw up. Her calm professionalism ensures both our tenants and landlords can feel reassured any issue will be dealt with efficiently and in a cost effective manner.
Abdel Lachgar - Head of Accounts
Abdel has worked in and also run the accounts departments of a number of estate agencies during his fourteen year career. He understands the importance of ensuring landlords get their rent quickly, that suppliers are paid promptly and that tenants are contacted immediately if they begin to fall behind with their rent. Abdel is vital in ensuring Hogarth Estates provides the high-end, boutique service the brand stands for.
Lucien Carey - Junior Negotiator
Lucien is the newest member of the Hogarth team and assists Catherine and Ellen by dealing with enquiries and undertaking viewings. He has also recently moved in to the SW5 area, leaving his native Somerset, and has been a quick learner and become a vital asset to the team. Lucien is currently studying for his ARLA qualification.
Sam Rotenberg-Emmanuel - Sales & Letting Support
Sam has many years of experience in estate agency and provides a valuable role of administrative support to both the Sales and Lettings departments. Sam is a member of ARLA.
